Webb & Gray

Webb & Gray are creating stand-out pieces using the best materials and quality craftsmanship. They use a variety of techniques and materials such as painting, gliding, and decoupage to breathe new life into tired furniture so that it can be loved once again.
Webb & Gray was created by designer Carrie Webb and her partner Bob Gray in 2016. Carrie is an experienced interior designer and has been professionally upcycling furniture for years. Webb & Gray produce ready-to-buy one-off pieces as well as making bespoke commissions. Based in Margate, Kent, Webb & Gray source their materials from France, Belgium, and locally in the UK.

Choosing upcycled furniture is not only unique and personal, it's also a great choice for the environment, reducing the use of raw materials. Webb & Gray aim to make each creation as unique as the next, with some creations elegant and glamorous and the next ones fun and quirky. By upcycling a piece of furniture, the lifespan of the item itself is increased not only by making it fit for purpose again, but by increasing its desirability.

Webb & Gray is also a member of the House of Upcycling and has been selected to represent them in their Industry Partnership with the British Institute of Interior Design for 2020. The House of Upcycling is a platform for professional upcycling, trying to promote the art.

In addition, Webb & Gray offer group or one-to-one workshops in their studio in Margate, open to the public to learn upcycling techniques from the professionals.
