“The largest and the rarest of the British grasshoppers - the large marsh grasshopper - was close to extinction due to loss of their preferred habitat - fens and peat bogs. This was until a rewilding project, run by Citizen Zoo, introduced several hundred into the wild at a wetland in Norfolk. It is hoping this will turn into a self-sustaining population.”
